Members are reminded that they should avoid saying anything which could be slanderous. While the council and its officers may be filmed or recorded, that does not apply to filming or recording members of the public, as their permission must be sought first. In St Luke’s Church Hall Norton Bridge
Present: Cllr M. Ainsworth Hickman (Chair) Cllr R. Hopley (Vice Chair) Cllr R Jones Cllr J Green Cllr D Davis Cllr S Edge.

22/56 | Welcome and Public Participation.
The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting and asked if anyone wished to speak. A member of the public asked questions relating to the Parish Council comments on the planning application 21/34553/FUL at Izzac Walton Fisheries. The Chair explained that all comments were related specifically to planning issues. In line with the Chebsey Parish Council Public Participation Policy the Chair explained to the member of public the allotted three minutes had been used .A copy of the policy was handed to the members of the public. The Chair moved on to the next item. The Chair gave an update from the History Society; around fifty people attended the talks at Chebsey Parish Hall on Saturday 2nd April. Members of the Parish will receive a free copy of the first book and the second book is available to purchase from the History Society. |

21/35506/HOU Application refused on design and materials. 22/35767/TCA Conservation area to thin re growth to old pruning points (Not notified to Parish Council) 21/34553/FUL. No decision made as yet. Concerns have been raised regarding a property in the Parish becoming residential accommodation for vulnerable children .After discussion it was agreed the Clerk will write to Sir William Cash regarding the policy gap where private dwellings can easily set up children’s homes without planning permission: Action Clerk |

Discuss Email reply regarding request for footpath from Blurtons Lane to Hilcote crossroads. After discussion it was agreed the clerk will print the application form for the next Parish Council meeting. Action Clerk Discuss the Norton Bridge bus route 102/103 Cllr R Jones has emailed the bus operators to ask if the buses can include Norton Bridge on their route, no reply received as yet. The locations for the Jubilee trees were discussed. Cllr M Ainsworth Hickman, Cllr J Green and Cllr R Hopley will speak to the Landowners for permission to plant the trees. After discussion it was decided to purchase Mountain Ash trees. Cllr J Green will arrange the purchase. Action Cllr M Ainsworth Hickman Cllr R Hopley and Cllr J Green Cllr M Ainsworth Hickman has applied for funding for the Jubilee celebrations. |
